Hyosung paid the expenses for vehicles, meal, souvenir, etc. for the 30 war veterans invited to a game between Kiwoom Heroes and Doosan Bears.
The event was arranged to remember the dedication of the war veterans on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice Agreement. The name of the event, “Stand up for Heroes,” was fixed in association with Kiwoom Heroes to show the support and appreciation for the Korean War heroes.
People who came to see the game had an opportunity to enjoy programs held for the event including roulette event related to the truce of the Korean War, quiz game, ceremonial pitches done by war veterans, march of the standard bearers of the 22 countries that came to ROK’s aid during the war, and performance by the band of the Capital Defense Command.
